It was the project I’ve spent the most time with because writing it was very hard, and sometimes I couldn’t bring myself to work on it because I knew it required a lot of emotional strength. I can make personal projects at my own pace and take on commissions, but I feel like artists, especially now, are really worried about rent and bills, so our first instinct when making something (at least for me) is “how can I profit off of this so I can make rent money?” and that’s not something that I want on my mind all the time.
