The Showcase Presents line is letting me have a second childhood and I'm loving every page, even in B&W. !and the best part of it all is…….I love reading english comic books and when it comes from DC Comics every single detail comes in handy.
The characters here were interesting and the story was engaging.

I was drawn into Cisco Ramon's origin story, and loved the "early days of Peter Parker" feel that I was getting from the book. 1 You know, this was actually pretty decent for a capes and cowls comic. Follows the adventures of the Justice League of America as they battle numerous villains, including Despero, Kanjar Ro, Dr. Destiny, Amos Fortune, and Felix Faust. 1. 1 But, as with most of the New 52, it's hurt by the obsessive use of the DC Nu house style, which results in the book constantly tumbling from one disaster to another, with cliffhangers every issue and no opportunity to catch your breath and look deeper into the storyline.
I always felt Sekowsky was the perfect JLA artist while my favorite artist, bar none, was Infantino.
I loved the diverse cast of characters!I enjoyed this a lot.

I want to like Vibe in an early Peter Parker way, but I'm just not there yet.Not my favorite New 52 series, but not my least favorite either. And at 232 pages, it has about 50% more to enjoy than most other first volumes in the New 52 product line.This was a mixed bag, but overall I enjoyed it. Two of my all-time favorite characters, and this was likely where I was first exposed to them. I first started reading the Justice League of America some 35 years ago during the Detroit era - when the team was comprised of Vibe, Gypsy, Steel, Vixen and I seem to recall Batman was occasionally around looking things over.
The problem is that the original Vibe (and to a lesser extent Gypsy) is practically toxic, and people wouldn't give this series a chance based solely on the name. Showcase Presents: Justice League America 5 Collects issues #1-6 and JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA: REBIRTH #1. I was familiar with the idea of Vibe from the Flash tv show. a dealer that you can trust to get your order. Start by marking “Justice League of America's Vibe, Vol. The New 52's update of Vibe was one version. a good price for a reprint of one of dc comics. References ↑ This battles is recounted in All-Star Comics, #68 (October, 1977). Also, this story about the multiverse felt strangely small, with the only real waypoints being an inexplicable (and incoherent) stop in Gemworld and a longer stay in Robotworld.
I really liked Cisco’s relationship with his brother, but not so much his relationship with Gypsy.
It was quite refreshing to read those classic Justice League of America stories from the 1960s and I can remember visiting the local newsagent on a Thursday afternoon to grab my lastest Marvels and DCs.
