Ordered for food the chicken mustard sandwich and the steak sandwich. Additionally, the food was super expensive and incredibly small portions. Before I intended on posting my review, I was expecting to see nothing but 4 and 5 star reviews from others. We often take our kids there. Prior to coming here I educated myself on the reviews--I was really surprised how low the ratings were. Like all the best things in life, Malibu Farm started small and grew organically--just like the food we like to eat and serve. Ordered a latte with oat milk and some honey- lets just say: BEST LATTE EVER. We ordered the multi grain pancakes (hold the bacon), stop light tacos: If you love farm to table food and the view of the Brooklyn Bridge, this is the place.More like 3.5 star but it's quite pricy in general.Mimosa & bloody aren't the only breakfast cocktails to pair with your breakfast/brunch. I'll definitely be stopping by again!The prices here will make you flinch, but that aside, this place was an amazing place for New Years Eve.
Truth is, these are the cheap skates and trash you don't want in your restaurant anyways. I appreciate the mission behind this restaurant and love the quality of the food.
Our kids go to the dance and art classes. We brought this to the attention of a staff member and they brought out a new plate with a ton of lobster but how would that have been missed in the first place?

Some of the food was under cooked and the bread was burnt (dead: charred) was on some of our sandwiches. I understand this place at the pier is a tourist spot but no value for the money spent. The waiters and waitresses were super attentive. To be fair I came here during winter but I can't imagine the view would be better than the original malibu farm. So my overall impression of service is a 5 because the staff were very friendly and attentive, but my food was extremely late.
Yes the view was good but not good enough for the money spent.It is unfortunate to see how much Covid19 has changed this place. Additionally, the pancakes came out wayyy in advance of everything else which was kind of disappointing, as was service in general. With that and the other cocktail I got (the Jalapeño) they don't give a straw and the type of ice is the kind that's just the right size to block the liquid at the bottom from coming through. The manners of the staff were great in my own opinion, and service is high on my list, so when the staff is rude that really pisses me off (lol) and leaves a lasting impression. Food is great and I am sure they can accommodate small children. You won't regret getting it.
