I was hoping I would get to know more about where Wally WeI enjoyed this. Mr. Twisty isn't much of a villain, and had the synopsis not mentioned Convergence, I wouldn't have known it had any relationship to that. I also was completely misinformed with what I expected from the plot. But when a villain needs the Titans to reform to achieve his goal, the various characters--plus some new faces--unite again for the first time in this story that works pretty well but probably goes on a bit too long.The Teen Titans are all living separate normal lives with no memory of their previous time together as one of the most powerful superhero teams ever. I loved the way Dick Grayson started out as the secret agent, then went back to Nightwing and finally for a while even Robin.
I found the humour off-putting and Wow! I always thought erasing the original Teen titans from the new 52 was a big mistake. It's a decent nostalgia bomb, if you're missing the original, 60s era Teen Titans, or at last missing the fact that they existed.

The antagonist society was the Wildebeest Society and the mysterious power behind their actions. I haven't read the Teen Titans, though I would love to. It’s a really interesting callback and does do a good job of helping to establish some of the New 52 continuity for the Teen Titans. Titans Hunt wrapped up last week with issue eight and addresses [sort of] the status of The New 52's original Titan's team. This was a book that started off very slow, but picked up momentum within the last couple of chapters, with a great payoff. Every issue I pick up suggests I read something else first to get more context. But this new and updated version is wonderful. But it was cool that the flashback panels didn't just leave space for the missing Titan, but actually drew in where he would go and what he was doing before eliminating him from the picture, something you'll only know from the bonus pages. But then things got serious and it was a really cool team effort and it ended with not a cliffhanger but a question in the air making me want to read the next new Titans books. I was hoping I would get to know more about where Wally West (original) was during this time. It also gave such a nice hint to the original Wally West's return and just for that I loved the last issue.Well, I finally decided to get into the DC Rebirth series and it is harder than I thought. I know he's lost in the Speed Force, but the concept art compiled in the end showed Wally trying to break through.
