I learned who committed the crime right away...I kept thinking that there would be a twist, since it was supposed to be a mystery/thriller, but it never came. Thus it’s hard to categorise as it’s atypical and is more of a social commentary on the ripple effects of a terrible event rather than a thriller or crime novel which makes it very interesting.
